The mastermind behind CWDJ.
Frank "Frankie" Carbone is the mastermind behind the award winning CWDJ Entertainment, Spark Photo Booth and Raleigh Photo Booth Fun. He is also 1/2 of the wedding podcast, The Wedvice Show. Frank has been a DJ since in the industry since the age of fifteen and has also worked in the music industry and radio industry. He was a songwriter, he worked backstage for major A list artists and also had a top 40 morning show in Raleigh.
Frank started an LLC for CWDJ Entertainment back in 2017 and has more events booked than ever before even with the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2019, he acquired Spark Photo Booths and also Raleigh Photo Booth Fun totaling up to three entertainment companies in the wedding and event industry.
Frank has a small team of three DJ's, an HR coordinator who also helps with event details, and has six photo booth attendants. The companies make your experience very personal and you'll feel like family when using them at your event or wedding. Frank and his team are very responsive and go above and beyond to make sure each and every client is extremely happy with the services the book. You're truly "shopping local" when you reserve us for your event.
Fun fact about CWDJ: It used to be called Carbone World DJ Entertainment - and all the popular packages were called different planets. We even had an alien incorporated into our branding. Once we got more popular with weddings, our look became more elegant and we rebranded to Carbone Wedding DJ Entertainment (CWDJ Entertainment). The "world" can still be seen in our current logo years later but we may be rebranding slightly soon to remove the world completely.
Fun facts about Frank: He is highly experienced with social media and branding so he does all of his own digital marketing for all of his companies without bringing in anyone from the outside. He loves pizza, trying local beers and loves spending time with his wife and four animals (two dogs and two cats). Him and his wife Elizabeth recently got into riding bikes again after years of not being on a bike as a way to get fresh air together and unwind from stressful days.
A lot of people ask what our style is. We keep it professional and mold our style to fit our clients. All of our DJ's have their favorite genres like late 90's, early 2000's, hip hop but we don't come to your wedding and event to play what we like and what we want - we play what you and your guests will like from our huge music library. We've got all genres, all artists and we're familiar with many different music styles. Just know you and your guests will have a great time. You even have a say in what we play when you access our online bridal portal.
